  6.   ExCal provides a means for a user to keep track of their day-to-day 
  7.   activities.  The calendar allows you to view months at a glance and to 
  8.   schedule events for one or more days.  The events may be scheduled to occur on 
  9.   a single day, daily, monthly, weekly, or yearly.  To remind you of a given 
  10.   event, you can set an event alarm.

  12.   ExCal also includes a simple address book.

  14.   ExCal is an example which demonstrates some of the key features of the OS/2 
  15.   Workplace interface and the value of using IBM's Common User Access (CUA) 
  16.   methodology for user interface design and behavior.
